Hi all. Today we continue our series on the different tribal groups and their traditional wedding ceremonies. Today we consider the Itsekiri traditional wedding ceremony. I don't know much about the people of Itsekiriland, however i can boldly say that their outfits ( both the bride and the groom) are to die for. The Nigerian women's dress popularly known as George and blouse identified with Delta state had its origin in Itsekiri land and also the men's long blouse ( Camisa in Portugese ).
